Since the Feb. 6 Turkey-Syria earthquakes, I have received lots of questions about aftershocks. This article describes Omori's Law:
"Aftershocks are most abundant immediately after a main shock. Ten days later the rate of aftershocks drops to 10 percent of the initial rate, 100 days later it falls to 1 percent, and so on."
